Come Write With Us & Practice Your Indigenous Language! The inaugural Indigenous Nations Poets (In-Na-Po) #LanguageBack Workshop series is a collaborative project incorporating several tribal communities, Indigenous language teachers, and educational venues around the state of Wisconsin. Supported by a grant from the Wisconsin Humanities Commission, the project centers on writing poetry that incorporates Indigenous languages and tribal teachings. Workshops are free to attend and will include meals and supplies for all participants. Knowledge of Indigenous languages or experience writing poetry is not required. We encourage all ages and experience levels to join us for a day of learning, writing, and community-building!
